Wakefield, MA — Feb 4, 2019 PICMG, a not-for-profit 501(c) consortium of companies and organizations that collaboratively develop open specifications held it’s bi-annual election for officers. The group welcomes two new officers and says goodbye to a longtime asset to the PICMG organization.
The President Jess Isquith, Chief Technical Officer Doug Sandy, and Vice President of Marketing Justin Moll were all re-elected for the 2019-2021 term. Michael Munroe, who served for 18 years as the Treasury/Secretary, is retiring. Dylan Lang from Samtec will now assume the Treasury role. Mr. Lang is a member of Samtec’s Standards Team, expanding the company’s participation in industry standards as well as product development definition. Valerie Andrew from Elma Electronic will serve as Secretary. Ms. Andrew has over 20 years of experience in the embedded computing industry and has been active in PICMG and other open standards organizations.

The PICMG team looks forward to expanding and improving on its group of open specifications for the embedded computing industry. With a diverse range of specifications, the markets served include industrial automation/IIoT, military/aerospace, medical, high energy physics, energy, gaming, telecommunications, railway, test/measurement, and UAV/drones.
