Designed to meet MIL-STD-810G, the cPCI-3510 Series supports wide temperature operation and withstands high shock/vibration environments for Military and Transportation
November 12th, 2013, Taipei Taiwan –ADLINK Technology Inc. (TAIEX: 6166) today announced its latest 4th generation Intel® Core™ i7 3U CompactPCI Processor Blade, the cPCI-3510 Series, supporting the quad-core Intel® Core™ i7-4700EQ @2.4GHz, 8GB of DDR3L-1600 ECC memory soldered onboard and 32GB of SATA NAND flash. The cPCI-3510 is designed to meet MIL-STD-810G, supporting wide temperatures from -20°C to 70°C and withstanding high vibration environments of 5Grms under operation. The cPCI-3510 Series is a reliable solution for applications in military and transportation, benefitting from integrated Intel® HD 4600 Graphics, thus making it highly suitable for video transcoding applications.
The cPCI-3510 Series supports three independent displays with two dual-mode DisplayPorts and one DVI-I output. The DisplayPort supports single link DVI or HDMI through a passive adapter cable and analog VGA interface using an active adapter cable. With the ADLINK XMC-G460 graphics module installed in the XMC site, the cPCI-3510 Series supports up to four independent displays and is suitable for military and aerospace industries in disaster recovery or multi-screen control center applications.
With an optimum balance of CPU/GPU/TDP and ADLINK’s Extreme Rugged™ technology, the conduction cooled version of the cPCI-3510, the CT-3510, is able to support -40°C to +80°C operation without forced air flow to meet the challenges of critical missions in a wide variety of harsh environments.
The cPCI-3510 Series also provides strong system manageability by taking advantage of the Intel® AMT 9.0 remote management technology included in Intel® vPro™ technology, plus PICMG 2.9 IPMI system management. This combination allows a remote user to access, configure, control and monitor the system status. Remote health diagnosis and maintenance and automatic alarm features help save time and costs as well as preventing catastrophic system shutdowns.
The cPCI-3510 Series includes two blade types based on the same electrical and mechanical design: the cPCI-3510 Series which is equipped with HM connectors, and the fully PICMG 2.30 compliant cPCI-3511 which features an Ultra Hard Metric (UHM) J2 connector supporting data transfer speeds of 5 Gb/s. Both products are compatible with the CompacPCI PlusIO pin assignment and support PCI Express Gen2 x4, three SATA 3Gb/s ports, three USB 2.0 ports and two Gigabit Ethernet ports at the J2 connector.
The cPCI-3510 Series can operate in a system slot as a master or in a peripheral slot as a standalone blade. With different daughter boards installed and the addition of a Rear Transition Module (RTM), the cPCI-3510 Series provides versatile I/O interfaces, including one DVI-I, two DisplayPort/DVI/HDMI ports, four serial ports, four SATA ports, one USB 3.0 and four USB 2.0 ports, six GbE ports, PS/2 keyboard/mouse, audio ports, and one PMC/XMC site for expansion flexibility. A Trusted Platform Module (TPM 1.2) is also supported to provide efficient hardware-based data protection.
