PICMG has joined with the Network Processing Forum and the Service Availability Forum in the Mountain View Alliance in order to better coordinate technical and marketing activities.

These relationships have been established so each organization can benefit from the expertise of the other for the purpose of enhancing and coordinating the work of each organization. There is no legal or corporate relationship involved.

PICMG China
PICMG China promotes PICMG specifications in China through events and conferences. This organization is independent of PICMG.

The activities of PICMG Europe increase the awareness of PICMG Specifications in Europe. This organization is independent of PICMG.

PICMG Japan promotes PICMG Specifications in Japan. This organization is independent of PICMG.

As part of an on-going effort to improve the adoption rate of communications platforms based on open standards, PICMG and The Communications Platforms Trade Association (CP-TA) have completed a liaison agreement that will allow the two organizations to exchange information. CP-TA is currently focused on defining and managing interoperability testing based on PICMG’s AdvancedTCA architecture. PICMG will continue to own, develop, and maintain the core specifications. The groups will work together on joint Interoperability Plugfests, training sessions and more. They are already coordinating marketing activities through their membership in the Mountain View Alliance.
